Talent has its own language...

When a thought comes into the mind, I wonder at times what it is meant to mean. Why am I having such a thought? What has the thought got to do with me? For each thought that is created and moulded...it becomes an image. An image slowly starts moving into what we know as a movie.

I remember how my short film on adoption was created. Just mere text messages between myself and my best friend about pregnancies...and the idea was born inside my head.

It took me a mere six hours to write the whole script. The script in my opinion..is the best I have written. I don't normally like what I write...very rarely will I say I like this.

When I think about it, the script does not become preachy and this is really important. I believe that films that are preachy and have no meaning to be can be boring. No one likes to watch a movie that does not make them sit down. If one is moving around in the seat then consider it to be boring for them.

Short films to be created in my opinion are the hardest...you need to create a story..be able to narrate it...be able to allow the audience to warm up and welcome the characters in the matter of minutes. Sounds so easy when it comes to watching but thinking of the work that must go in...it is not easy at all.

Now that I am about to start the production of the movie...I have had many challenges on the way. Which later in the year...I will discuss. But what we need to welcome is our imagination. Whatever we imagine has the ability to become reality. If James Cameron can create Avatar...it shows that anything can be created.

For me...a strong film lies in its script. So until I find a script that I create to excite me enough...I will direct it. I don't want to be known as someone who will make a movie for no reason. There has to be a reason...I need to feel passionate towards it.

This short film that I am about to start the production on...I am excited about it, I am passionate about it and I am completely in love with it. I just hope that I do complete justice to the script.

Here is a quote for all that I thought of earlier: Talent has its own language, its own beauty and its own journey. We are merely bodies showcasing the biggest show of all - OUR LIVES!

Silence of the blessing

The blessed moment you enter the white space
You know that it's time for merciless evaluation
You ponder through the damp detrimental thoughts
Life's sins washed by the immaculate purity of water

The ecstasy felt as you know there is no other option
The only noise is you and the silence of your thoughts
You slowly...slowly...feel your thoughts turn into action
The action made by the subtle innocence of decisions

As you get out of this white space soaked with action
Drying yourself by practicing those silent decisions
The world disregard you as you remain committed
You know that your silent promise rules above all

God even shows His mercy on those who believe
Who believe in themselves, for they know righteous glory
Even if the silence of the blessing is graciously received
Be ready for the destruction to the foundation of the relationship

One ultimate conclusion received from the Lord of Love
Love binds all those who devotedly bind with love.

New Year...new start?

What do we expect in new years. new changes, a new us, a new start. Why give so many new hopes when you know...you will never achieve it.

I know it sounds rather pessimistic but it is a truth. We claim to do things that would never happen and we know it. We say it so we create hope for a change, we make ridiculous resolutions and within a week or two...we are back to our old ways.

I never make any resolutions and neither do I see the new year to be a time for change. A new start begins everyday and it is how we live each day is more important. How much longer do we want to fool ourselves with these resolutions.

If we truly want to change for the better, we will do it straight away. If we don't want to change then we will make excuses. In fact, its human nature...we will make excuses.

Therefore when people say 'the new year is a time for a new start...a time to move on' it makes no difference to me. I live each day as it comes. I try to live each day as a new start. I move along with time and allow it to make my day.

I wish you all a happy new year...if you want to change then start with every day, if you don't want to then carry on living your lives as they are but don't complain!
